RIDE CYCLE REVIEW TAKE A LOOK AT OUR BOOT/HATCH MOUNTED RACKS
\Ride Cycling Review
In addition to a bunch of roof rack bike carriers, Yakima has some excellent boot/hatch-mounted systems. The SuperJoe Pro is a sturdy rack that, once set up, can be mounted and removed in less than a minute. It holds two or three bikes depending on the car (be sure to check Yakima’s fit guide, as this is not a universal fit), and stabiliser bars keep the bike frames from contacting your car or each other. An innovative security strap system is also included; heavy duty bike straps with padded blocks which sit inside the boot, turning your car into the lock. Last but not least… integrated bottle openers for post-ride refreshments.
You will need to get creative to keep front wheels from flopping around and pedals contacting down tubes, but Yakima gives you a good deal of quality for not much money.
